"Our mission is to provide fair, impartial and efficient justice
to the Butler County community."

Specialty Courts

The Butler County Court of Common Pleas currently offers four certified specialized docket programs:

  • Substance Abuse and Mental Illness Court (SAMI)
  • Drug Court
  • Felony Nonsupport Court (FNS)
  • Veterans Treatment Court (VTC).

Specialized Dockets offer a therapeutically oriented judicial approach to providing court supervision and appropriate treatment to individuals.   Each docket has a dedicated treatment team which consists of the Judge, probation officers, Specialized Docket staff, and a wide range of treatment providers from numerous community agencies.  The goal is to rehabilitate the participant through intense supervision and the expedited delivery of needed services resulting in reduced recidivism, thereby protecting the public and saving Butler County tax payer dollars.

For detailed information on eligibility and the application process please click on the individual program to the left or contact the Specialized Courts office at 513.887-3957.
