The Butler County Department of Court Services, Special Programs Division is responsible for supervision of offenders for which the Court has determined that a higher level of supervision is required to both rehabilitate the offender and protect the community.  Offenders being supervised by the Special Programs Division may be any of the following: Intensive Supervision Probation (ISP), Nonsupport of Dependents (including Inter/Intrastate Compact), Sex Offender Supervision, or Veterans.

The Special Programs Division also includes supervision over two specialized dockets: Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) and Felony Nonsupport (FNS).
